I worked closely with Neo Group as a client to completely overhaul their existing driver delivery mobile app. Given their prominent position as one of the leading food caterers in Singapore, the company required a sturdy and streamlined system to manage multiple buffet orders efficiently every day.
To gain firsthand insights, I conducted extensive site visits with the drivers, delving into their operational processes from food item collection and logistics to traveling to the customer's location, setting up the catering buffet, and handling collection and payment. By identifying the pain points experienced by the drivers while using the previous app, we were able to reevaluate and enhance the app's features.
This led to the development of an improved, user-friendly application with new functionalities including QR-code scanning, easily accessible messaging shortcuts for drivers while on the move, and a more intuitive method to confirm collected food items.
Timeline of orders to be fulfilled are shown on the home page, and complete information is available even when driving.
Drivers can scan food items to mark it as collected, and the app ensures that all food items are collected before they move off.
The app constantly reminds drivers of order statuses, and provides them with next steps of interaction with the customer.
The app provides drivers with clear guidance on the necessary procedures during collection and food clearing.
The app allows drivers to complete post-buffet signatories and payments with the customers on the spot.
Relevant app notifications will be pushed to the drivers to ensure their safety and well-being.
